one of a kind bullet necklace with arrows
This one-of-a-kind necklace features a recycled bullet casing, which was sourced from a private shooting area in the woods. This area is littered with bullet casings of all shapes and sizes and trash. I'm doing my part to clean up the Earth and make beautiful jewelry! I hand-cut a small rectangular window on the front and an even smaller arrow shape on the back of the casing and inserted a clear vial inside. This design features three loose arrows inside. Finished with faceted Marcasite point. Full pendant measures approximately 3.5 inches in length and is very lightweight. On 27-inch long brass chain. This design is versatile enough to be worn by either sex.
In Native American belief, arrows signified direction, force, movement, power and direction of travel.
Marcasite is a polymorph of pyrite, which means that is has the same chemistry as pyrite, but different structure, symmetry and crystal shapes. Marcasite was hugely popular during the 18th and 19th centuries, but its use has declined since World War II. Because of its reflective surface, larger crystals of marcasite were believed to have been used as mirrors in some ancient civilizations.
Marcasite inspires relaxation, reflection, spiritual development, focus and clarity. It encourages past life recall and awakens ancient memories. Providing a detached perspective when seeking insights into your self, it helps to make any adjustments necessary. If you suffer from scattered or confused thinking and impaired memory, Marcasite brings clarity. Increasing willpower, it boldly goes where you have not been before.
